About Building Project

About Stewardship Campaign | Stewardship Testimonies

For over three years, the Holy Spirit has been speaking to us about enlarging our borders. As a Ministerial Staff and Board, we have prayed together for the Lord to give us a vision for the future ministries of Calvary Christian Center. As we have been seeking Him for direction, it seems the Lord has been saying to us, "What I have ahead for you is a new day, a new beginning." Before us as a body of believers, lies a whole new level for ministry and outreach in our growing community. The Holy Spirit directed us to the exact location of our new property and through a process has helped us to procure twenty-four acres of prime land for our new campus. Our new campus will not be just about buildings, rooms, and seats. It will be about people.

Components of our new facility will entail: a new sanctuary to seat 2,100, spacious lobby with a cafe and Christian bookstore/library, nursery facilities to accommodate the needs of infants and toddlers, a designated auditorium for our kid's church ministries, a spacious gymnasium to accommodate our youth ministries and a youth center with a complex of ministry offices to accommodate our growing ministry to students, a full compliment of properly sized classrooms to facilitate educating all age groups and of course, a gathering place for people who seek a special environment to pray. So, we have been commissioned by the Master Builder to "build buildings" to "build people."

We are excited to report that the 24 acres of land has been paid for and we are looking toward the day when we can break ground to begin construction of phase one. We are now entering the most significant period in the history of Calvary Christian Center. We must build in order to facilitate the growing demands that we have to minister to our current people and to meet the needs of those who are yet to be saved and discipled through the ministries of Calvary Christian Center. Because of the greatness of the challenge lying before us, each person in our congregation will be asked to pray about a sacrificial commitment over and above our tithes, for a period of three years. We will all be taking a great step of faith and making a new dedication in order for us to meet this challenge. Because we believe the Lord is with us, and is leading us, we know He will guide us through this process, in order to enable us to reach our community for Him.
