Home Groups

Calvary Christian Center Home Groups are designed for "ministry with a personal touch."  Each of our home groups have four purposes:

FELLOWSHIP: Developing a true sense of unity within the Body of Christ, caring for one another, and creating an atmosphere of acceptance is a hallmark of the groups.

DISCIPLESHIP: Spiritual growth and development result as the Scriptures are shared and discussed. The Word comes alive as personal insights and experiences are expressed by group members.

PRAYER: A more personal atmosphere of care is developed as burdens are shared with one another in a transparent attitude. Having a group of believers to stand with you through the tough places is an important aspect of ministry.

EVANGELISM: Reaching into the neighborhood, discovering their needs, inviting newcomers, caring for and discipling new Christians are just a few ways the surrounding homes are actively introduced to Christianity.

We currently have 17 active home groups, which meet weekly in Yuba City, Marysville, Oroville, Olivehurst & Beale Air Force Base. There are a variety of groups including some specifically for men, women, jr. high and high school students, singles, those facing divorce recovery, and military personnel at Beale AFB. Each home group provides fellowship and support through prayer and Bible study. They reach out to their neighbors, inviting them to attend and discover the Bible for themselves; and they provide a place where people can find a helping hand in time of need.
